John Wieselthier

I am an Economics PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley with focuses in Labor and Urban Economics. My research centers around crime, (dis)employment effects and poverty, more generally. Secondary interests extend into Econometrics and Public Finance. I'm advised by Pat Kline and my job market paper studies the effects of job displacement on crime utilizing administrative court records, payroll, and credit data in Texas.
